PARTNERSHIPS AND PROJECTS

The Association has been working over the years by following the aims of its statute, getting national and international recognition. The Casa de Cora Coralina Association, by the counterpart tax mechanism "Rouanet Law", has been acting at patrimonial education, patrimonial preservation and patrimonial promotion. Besides, the Association is being endorsed and this creates the possibility to execute several and significant projects.

PROJECTS

2008

• Cavalhadas Memorial – recovering of the documental collection from "Cavalhadas Memorial" at the city of Pirenópolis. Endorsed by Petrobras.
  1. Window to Cinema – Culture Point with audiovisual activities. Endorsed by IPHAN/Culture Ministry.
  2. Wandering Project Cora Coralina – a poetic guide to the City of Goiás. Endorsed by Monumenta/UNESCO.
  3. Cora Coralina´s Candies and Poetry Festival – to promote her life and poetry at Brasília. Endorsed by Tourism Ministry and Global Book Editor S/A.

ACTIVITIES

2007

• 5th Museum National Week. There were lectures and a musical concert with "Quarteto de Vila Boa".
• Lauching of the books: "Água de Pedra", by Idelmar de Paiva, "Separação, Divórcio e Inventário por via Administrativa", by Maria Luiza Povoa Cruz, and the novel "Triangulo no Ponto", by the minister Eros Grau.
• Photograph Exhibition: "The City of Goiás seen by outsiders", by Samuel Vaz.
• Neighbour´s Day and Cora´s birthday celebration. Musical concert with the artist from Maranhão, Ceumar. Video exhibition: "Uma das Outras" by Lázaro Ribeiro. Patrimonial Education Lectures promoted by IPHAN/UEG.

2006

• 1st Goyaz Poetry Festival. Lauching of the book: Memórias Inventadas II, by Manoel de Barros. Opening of the exhibition: "Memórias Inventadas", by Martha de Barros.
• Opening of the 4th Museum National Week (DEMU).
• Lauching of the novel "Caminho Inverso", by Idelmar de Paiva and a concert by the acoustic guitar player, Reinaldo Reis.
• Debate: "Cora Coralina, 50 years after her return to the Old House from the Bridge" followed by a show with the "Verso & Prosa Group" and a play performed by the actress and poet from Maranhão, Lilia Diniz.
